Here are just a few days in our calendar year that we, and the nation, feel are mandatory musts for Girl Time!
National Friendship Day is on the first Sunday in August
Women's Friendship Day is on the third Sunday in September
International Friendship Month is February
Old Friends, New Friends Week is the third week of May
The first Sunday in August was proclaimed National Friendship Day
by the U.S. Congress in 1935

Get together with your best girlfriends once every month:
- Brunch at a different house
- Try a fancy tea room
- Day spa for manicures, facials, hot stone massages...you name it
- Go see a show, a movie, or a concert
- Dine at a 5 star restaurant, a diner, or on a dinner cruise
- Scrapbook parties
- On a budget? Shop thrifty, you will be stylish and your wallet will thank you!
- Wine tasting
- Join a club with one another... i.e. Book of the Month Club
- Go to a museum, a local art gallery, or a poetry reading
Pick the same weekend every year to have a quick get a way with just your girls:
- Rent a beach house
- Go antiquing
- Enjoy a yoga retreat
- Spa weekend
- Go camping...break out those sleeping bags
- Go golfing, biking...with a side order of sunbathing (with spf!)
Have a girls night in:
- Hire a baby sitter or daddy
- Signature "girls night in" beverage.
- At home spa treatments
- Play board games
- Sing karaoke
- Take pictures of everyone...for the scrap book of course
- Rent scary movies and all your old favorite teen flicks and eat lots of popcorn!
- Have every one bring their own clothes and put on your own fashion show
- Make best friend bracelets
- Have a pillow fight...preferably before your hair is styled for the fashion show
- Try belly dancing
...And of course have everyone come in their pajamas and slippers. Don't forget your tiara and feather boa!!!
